Here’s an extended form and rhythm shooting video that I like to share with our players who want to improve their shooting by having a set plan to follow as soon as they enter the gym. Of course our practice will go beyond this type of practice into a game-based environment.

In this video you will see 16 types of shots being practiced (one hand, one leg hops, stick the toe, hopping off the dribble, and more) with different challenges and subtleties to cover a wide array of aspects part of the art of shooting.

The purpose of form & rhythm shooting is to develop good habits. So when you get in a game, you will consistently use proper form without thinking about it.

Once you get good at it, don’t think you can stop.

There are NBA players that do form shooting everyday!
